Barista

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
• Take accurate orders and process payments using the POS system
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
• Suggest beverages and upsell menu items based on customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and workstations
• Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Monitor stock levels and report inventory needs to the supervisor
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock quality and timely delivery
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and clean-up
• Communicate professionally via email when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista or waiter (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation; advanced skills such as latte art are a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, professional attitude with a passion for customer service
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Team-oriented with a positive and proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Barista training or coffee preparation
• Experience in specialty coffee or premium café settings
• Knowledge of different coffee beans, brewing techniques, and equipment
